Ross Hicks, Jr. September 5, 1927 - July 8, 2011 Ross Hicks, Jr. of Waco passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 at his residence. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 13, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, prior to the service, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Ross was born September 5, 1927 in Waco, Texas to Ross and Lorell Hicks, Sr. He was in real estate and investments most all his adult career. He proudly supported St. Joseph's Indian School, Parents Television Council, Hospitalized GI's and Veterans, Boys Town, The National Children's Cancer Society, The Alzheimer's Association and was a 47-year member of the Waco Founder Lions Club. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Maxine Hicks. He is survived by one son, Ross Hicks III of Waco. Memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Association or the Mayo Clinic.
