GRESHAM, ROY LEE Roy Lee Gresham, age 85 of Hallsburg died Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Sunday, October 5 at Cottonwood Cemetery with Rev. Buddy Sipe officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 4-6pm Saturday, October 4 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mr. Gresham was born July 22, 1918 in Bruceville, Texas to Wid and Lula Gresham. He was a partner in Carnes and Gummelt Dusting Machines in Mooreville, Texas. He worked at Rocketdyne in McGregor and Mosley Machinery in Waco. He was a machinist. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Edwin Gresham and sister, Nel Rose Johnson. Survivors include wife, Ruth Gummelt Carnes Gresham of Hallsburg, daughter, Edwina May of Hallsburg, stepdaughter, Katherine Carnes Gurley Others of Ruidoso, New Mexico, stepson, Albert D. Carnes of Robinson, granddaughter, Shawn May Bray and husband, Poalo of Hallsburg, great granddaughter, Kimber Lee Bray of Hallsburg, step granddaughters, Jeana Gurley, Ronda Bowser, Sharla Bannberg, Alisha Young, and Susan Carnes, step great grandchildren, Tana and Ashley Bowser and Jason Bannberg, and step great great granddaughters, Aleisha and Alexa Bannberg.
