HOPKINS, ROY LEE Roy Lee Hopkins, age 84, of Waco died Friday, June 8, 2001 at a local hospital. Services will be 11:30 AM Monday, June 11th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. Steve Langford officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, June 10th at the funeral home. Mr. Hopkins was born in Axtell January 17, 1917. He attended schools in Bellmead and Waco. He married Jewell Adams in 1955 in Pharr, TX. He was a member of Odd Fellow Lodge #137 and of Cogdell United Methodist Church. He was an employee of Wolf Manufacturing for 22 years. Survivors include: Wife: Jewell Hopkins of Waco Brother: Robert Hopkins of Kentucky Cousin: Bill Williams of Waco Uncle: Melvin Little of Waco Numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews, Memorials may be made to Codgell United Methodist Church.
