CROOK, SR., ROY O. Roy O. Crook, Sr., age 82, of Crawford died Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at his residence. Services will be held at 1pm Saturday, May 24 at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Gene Grace officiating. Entombment will follow at Waco Memorial North. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Friday, May 23 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mr. Crook was born March 27, 1921 in Limestone County. He married Mary Sue Losak April 12, 1940. She preceded him in death February 11, 2003. Mr. Crook served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He worked as an adjudicator for the Veterans Administration. He was a longtime member of Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include sons, Clark R. Crook and wife, Karen of China Spring and Roy O. Crook, Jr. and wife, Bonnie of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Claire Freedman, Beau Crook, C. J. Crook and Roger Price all of the Waco area and Jeff Crook and Amy Crook of Cincinnati; great grandchildren, Kyndall Freedman, Destiny Price and Ty Commander; brother, Joe Ed Crook and wife, Lorraine of Waco; sisters-in-law, Olga Urban of Waco and Mildred Beard of Port Neches and numerous nieces and nephews.
