DUNKIN, RUBY Ruby Dunkin, 84, of Waco died Sunday, August 25, 2002 at a local nursing home. Services will be held at 11am Thursday, August 29 at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Vaughn Peak and Rev. Lynn Willhite officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Wednesday, August 28 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Dunkin was born November 29, 1917 in Elgin, Texas, where she was reared and educated. She married Clyde C. Dunkin August 4, 1942. They moved to Waco in 1951. Mr. Dunkin preceded her in death August 8, 1977. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Milton Krenek and one sister, Lilly Fleet. Survivors include daughter, Nell Guice Groskranz and husband, Richard, sons, Garland Dunkin and wife, Mona, David Dunkin and wife, Angie all of Waco, and Ronald Dunkin and wife, Olga of Russia, 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, sister, Peggy Peese and husband, Levi of Kerrville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
