Ruby Lee Mounce May 8, 1918 - August 28, 2008 Ruby Lee Mounce of Itasca passed away Thursday, August 28, 2008. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Waco Memorial Park. Ruby was born May 8, 1918 near Mt. Calm to Charlie and Willie Smith. She worked at several department stores and was with Sears for many years. Ruby was a long time member of Parkview Baptist Church. She was an artist, painter, seamstress, singer and a wonderful wife, mother, sister and grandma. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd Lindsey Mounce; and a brother, C.T. Smith, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Lynette Younger and husband, Daniel of Itasca, TX and Nancy Clark and husband, Carroll of Rosenberg, TX; her son, Jerry Mounce and wife, Carolyn of Olathe, Kansas; and sister, Billie Greer and husband, Joe of Lubbock, TX; 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
