Ruglilo and Dominga Castillo passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in Temple, Texas. A Memorial Church Service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 5, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev Carlo Benjamin Magnaye, officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 pm-7:00 pm, followed by a Rosary on Friday, September 4, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd, Waco, Texas. Ruglilo was born on January 16, 1928 in Golinda, Texas, to Ralph Castillo and Rosa Castillo and was educated in Golinda. He worked at American Desk in Temple for 15 years and after that at Scott & White Hospital, Temple for 32 years. He enjoyed making model airplanes and cars, watching football, baseball, dancing, telling jokes and spending time with all his children and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Castillo; mother, Rosa Castillo; brothers, Adolfo Castillo, Rafael Castillo, Calletano Castillo; sisters, Rosa Fuentes and Ascencion Salinas. Dominga was born on May 12, 1929 in Asa, Texas to Dolores Barbosa and Frank Caldera and was educated in Moody, Texas. She worked at American Desk in Temple, Artco-Bell in Temple and Dr. Weinblatt Family Clinic. She enjoyed shopping with her 3 sisters in flea markets, dancing and spending time with all her family and friends. They both welcome everyone to their home and always had their table full of desserts, fruits, sweets and favorite drinks such as Dr Pepper and Big Red sodas. Ruglilo and Dominga celebrated 70 wonderful years of marriage on May 25th. She is preceded in death by her father, Frank Caldera; mother, Dolores Barbosa; sisters, Cornelia Caldera and Bonnie Medina of Temple; brothers, Cirilo Caldera, Mike Caldera, Isabel Caldera and Sam Caldera. They are both survived by sons, Roy Castillo Jr and wife, Elsa, of Temple, Oscar Castillo and wife, Gloria, of Waco, Rick Castillo and fiancée, Diana Cespedes of Temple; seven grandchildren, Roy Anthony, Cassandra, Angela, Laura, Eric, Nicholas and Sammuel Castillo; five great-grandchildren, Kylie, Marcus, Madison, Savannah and Virgil; sister, Clara Selio husband, Ignacio Selio, of Temple; sisters in law, Mary Ann Caldera and Mary Caldera of Waco; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are: Roy Castillo Jr, Oscar Castillo, Rick Castillo, Roy Anthony Castillo, Eric Castillo, Sammuel Castillo, Nicholas Castillo and Nicolai Cespedes. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Temple and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waco.
