Ruth A. “Pat” Knock September 29, 1923 - August 2, 2007 Ruth A. “Pat” Knock of Waco passed away peacefully Thursday, August 2, 2007 surrounded by her loving and caring family. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Stephen Ramsdell officiating. She will be in state until 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning, August 4 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Pat was born September 29, 1923 in Worthington, MN to Harold and Ruth See. She retired following years of service at the Waco VA Regional Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Judy Ann and her brother, Jim See; by her first husband, Carlisle J. “Curley” Kopp, who died in 1943 while serving as a naval aviator in WWII; and by her second husband, Lt. Col. A.E. Knock, who died in 1983. “She leaves behind an earthly heritage and inheritance of four children, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren, each of whom have individually embraced her faith and commitment to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” She is survived by two sons, Michael Kopp and wife, Kay of Waco; Jeff Knock and wife, Lisa of Richmond, VA; two daughters, Jill Kelly of Waco; and Amy Christie and husband, Corey of Waco; grandchildren, Jamie Shelton, Jerri Gonzalez, Courtney Christie, Cooper Christie, Alex Knock, Trevor Starr, Paige Kelly and McKenzie Kelly; great grandchildren, Jessica Cooper, Whitney Gonzalez, Zachary Gonzalez, Garlin Gonzalez, Greyson Gonzalez and Grahm Gonzalez.
