Ruth Charlotte Wood November 26, 1920 - May 21, 2012 Ruth Charlotte Henry Wood Mrs. James K. Wood, Jr., 91, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012, at Memorial Herman Memorial Hospital in Houston. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 24, at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 to 12 Noon, Thursday at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd, Waco, Texas. She was born November 26, 1920, to Ellsworth Faye Henry and Cleo Walker Henry, in Bowie, Texas. She lived in Waco from 1956 to 1963. Her husband of 59 years, Dr. James Kenneth Wood, Jr., the son of Mrs. J.K. Wood, Sr., of Waco, preceded her in death. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Lynda Wood and Lauren Rottet, both of Houston; her son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. William Wood of Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Kyle Rottet, Evan Rottet, Rayanna Wood and Ryan Wood, and a great grandson, Brennen Wood; as well as many great friends and other family members.
