JACOBS, RUTH Ruth Englander Jacobs, age 92, of Waco died Tuesday, July 17, 2001 in Dallas. A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM Thursday, July 19, 2001 at Rodef Sholom Cemetery with Rabbi Mordecai Podet officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Family will be at the Louie Englander residence after the service. Mrs. Jacobs was born July 5, 1909 in Waco to Julius and Fannie Englander. She was a lifelong resident of Waco. She married Abe Jacobs September 5, 1936. He preceded her in death April 15, 1955. She owned and operated Greenway Family Store at 19th and Reuter for over 20 years. She was a volunteer at Hillcrest Hospital after her retirement. Mrs. Jacobs was an active member of Temple Rodef Sholom for many years. Survivors include: Sons: Robert Jacobs and wife, Sue of New York City, NY Dr. Jerry Jacobs and wife, Judy of Dallas Ed Jacobs of Morgantown, WV Sister: Judith Block of Waco Grandchildren: Jackie Grundie Michelle DeLong Four great grandchildren Memorials may be made to Temple Rodef Sholom WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
