Ruth Farmer December 22, 1912 – January 15, 2006 Ruth Farmer passed away Sunday, January 15, 2006 at Quality Care of Waco. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m.Thursday, January 19, at Hillsdale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 pm, Wednesday, January 17, at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Ruth was born December 22, 1912 to Lucian and Zula Culwell. She graduated from Waco High School, attended Baylor University and Texas Womens College. She is survived by her step-daughter, Mary E. Cowan of Moody; grandsons, Larry Cowan, Les Cowan, and T L Cowan; granddaughters: Mary Cunningham, Kathy Rainer, Patricia Hernandez and Peggy Sieben; 14 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Frank Farmer. A very special “thanks” to Dot Lane, Mrs. Bailey, Carolyn Wilson, Barbara Sandlin and La Shawn Morgan from Quality Care; Annette Weaver and Carol Steiger from Southern Care; and faithful friends Nannie Lou Fenske, Audrey Watkins, Agatha Wollard and Johnny and Sadie Johnson.
