Ruthie Lee Lemon

Ruthie Lee Lemon January 10, 1926 - August 3, 2008 Ruthie Lee Lemon of Waco passed away peacefully Sunday, August 3, 2008 at her home, with family by her side. Family services were held at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Dick Wooten officiating. Ruthie was born January 10, 1926 in Henderson, TX to Johnnie Lee and Ruth Richardson Powell. She graduated from Henderson High School in 1943. She married her husband of 60 years, Herbert R. Hub Lemon on February 24, 1945 and he preceded her in death on April 10, 2005. They were long time members of Cogdell Memorial United Methodist Church. Ruthie was a loving wife, wonderful mother and grandmother; and she will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Marion Powell and sister, Rita Bailey. She is survived by her sons, Don and wife, Sherry; Chris and wife, Margaret; and Ted Lemon; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Taylor, Chelsey, Josh, Ashley and Bradley Lemon; one great-grandson, Jacob.
