Sam Tom Golden, Sr. November 15, 1931 - November 26, 2008 Sam Tom Golden, Sr. of Waco passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2008 with the family at his side. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 28, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rev. D. Michael Toby officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. He will be in state beginning Thursday at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. S.T. Tommy was born November 15, 1931 in Hillsboro, Texas to Charlie and Nina Golden. He grew up and attended Ennis schools. S.T. and Dorothy McNutt were married November 22, 1950 in Ennis. He worked for the railroad, owned Texas Home Improvement, Golden Mobile Home, Inc., and Franklin Auto Sales. He had been very active in the Jaycee's. Tommy was a member of First Baptist Church of Woodway. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Charles Felix Golden. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy Golden; son, Sam Tom Golden, Jr. and wife, Tracy; daughters, Pamela Jean Vasquez and husband, Chico; Phyllis Kyle and husband, Marshall; and son, Brian Golden and wife, Rhonda; brother, Billy Frank Golden; grandchildren, Amanda Roukoski and husband, Brad; Lacey Golden; Samantha Haberle and husband, Fred; Matthew Vasquez; Lainey Kyle; Whitney, Brad, Cameron, Jordan and Mason Golden; great grandchildren, Casey, Olivia and Cole. Pallbearers are Cameron Golden, Brad Golden, Matthew Vasquez, Nick Carroll, Fred Haberle, David Golden and Rolly Vasquez. Memorials may be made to Providence Hospice.
