Sammie Ann Warhol

Sammie Ann Warhol October 10, 1946 – February 16, 2016 On February 16, 2016, the Lord called Sammie Ann Warhol, 69, home. Her memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 29, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd in Waco, Texas. The only child of Lawrence and Estha Irene Greenwood, Sammie was born on October 10, 1946, in Waco, Texas. She was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, niece, friend and colleague. Sammie attended Waco Elementary School, North Junior High School, Richfield High School, McLennan Community College and Baylor University. She was an established and well-regarded marketing professional at both A-I Automotive Company and Hewlett-Packard Corporation. Sammie was a woman of unwavering faith who will be remembered for her strength, humility, selflessness, empathy and kindness. Her sense of humor endeared her to all those who knew Sammie and she shared her love of sports with her son. When she wasn’t rooting for the Texas Longhorns or Dallas Cowboys, Sammie enjoyed gardening, bible study, casual gatherings with her many friends, and book club meetings. Sammie cherished time with her family and loved watching her grandsons participate in school activities. Preceded in death by both of her parents, Sammie is survived by her son, Jeffrey Lawrence Warhol and daughter-in-law, Monika Hobor Warhol; and grandsons, Krisztian Gelle and Jeffrey Brooks Warhol, all of Houston Texas.
