SHUBERT, SANDINA SALADINO Sandina Saladino Shubert, age 79, of Waco died Monday, November 18, 2002 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Wednesday, November 20 at Holy Cross Cemetery with Msgr. Mark Deering officiating. Arrangements are through Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Sandina was preceded in death by her loving husband Lee and sons Joe and Everett, a brother Frank, and recent death of her older sister Lucille Daniel. She is survived by her caring and protective brothers, Tony, Louis, Sammy and Johnny Saladino and her younger sister with a heart of gold, Anne Brooks along with their supportive spouses who know the importance of our close family bond, loving daughter Shirley and son in law Dr. Kendall Moore, four grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and nieces, nephews and caring friends. Special thanks to our newly adopted family members Margaret Cureton along with the help of Deda Thompson, Debbie Stewman and the caring staff of Hillcrest Hospice. All have taken a special place in our family's hearts for their devotion and tender loving care in providing peace to Sandina in her final days on earth. Sandina, a true teacher in life who demonstrated if you so cherish God, love and family, then you can conquer but the tallest of mountains.
