VICKERS, SARAH Sarah Elizabeth Vickers, 76 of Verbena, Alabama passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2004 in Birmingham, Alabama. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26 at Waco Memorial North with Brother Nathan Booth officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 25 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Mrs. Vickers was born May 4, 1928 in Tifton, Georgia. She was a long time member of North Waco Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Wendell Freeman and Robert Vickers; and a son, Robert L. Freeman. Survivors include her son, Eugene W. Freeman and wife Linda of Whitney; granddaughter, Kristie Freeman of Whitney; great grandson, Jareth Freeman; sister, Pauline Lightfoot and husband Berl of Verbena, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.
