LINDSEY, SELMA Selma Katherine “Sam” Pack Lindsey, age 91, of Speegleville, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, January 29, 2002 at a local hospital. Services will be 10:00AM Friday, February 1 at Western Heights Baptist Church with Brother Mike Patterson, Rev. Curtis Holland and Brent Lightsey officiating. Burial will follow at Whitehall Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00PM Thursday, January 31 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Lindsey was born on June 29, 1910, in Ocee, Texas. As a young girl, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. She was a true Christian example to everyone who knew her. She married Curtis Lee Lindsey on February 23, 1935, in Waco. They were happily married and the best of friends for almost 67 years. She was a homemaker and stay at home mom. Mrs. Lindsey was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church for over 42 years. She served in many ways, and was always ready to help in any way she could. Mrs. Lindsey was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was also a precious friend to so many. She was a fun-loving lady who could light up a room with her sweet smile. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and her ten brothers and sisters. Survivors include husband, Curtis Lee Lindsey of Speegleville; son, Joe L. Lindsey of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Kay and Glynn Lightsey of Speegleville; grandchildren, Sherrie Lightsey of Waco, Brent and wife, Nicole Lightsey of Fort Worth, Susan Lightsey of Carrollton, Hayden Lindsey of Dallas, great grandchild, Jenna Elizabeth Lightsey of Fort Worth, many nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Pallbearers will be Charles Lindsey, Joe Burk Lindsey, Claude Lindsey, Tom Lindsey, Steven Lindsey, and Hayden Lindsey. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Pack, Jim Talley, Charlie Pack, Michael Stowers, and Richard Pack. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Western Heights Baptist Church, Whitehall Cemetery Association or organization of your choice. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
