Sibyl Jewell Dickey January 19, 1934 - November 3, 2015 Sibyl Jewell Dickey of Woodway, Texas, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 5, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Mr. Alan Ritchie and Mr. Nathan Burrow officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 4, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Sibyl was born January 19, 1934, in Hico, Texas, to Charlie and Bertha Conner. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a bookkeeper during her working years, very active in her church, New Road Church of Christ, ABWA and Waco Homebuilders Association. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Opal Graham; and two brothers, Bud and Abe Conner. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, M.L. Dickey; her daughter, Lynn Maxwell and husband, Gary; and son, David Dickey and wife, Tanya; grandchildren, Justin and Becca Dickey, Jenna and Rob Norvell and Joe and Megan Maxwell; two great grandchildren, Eli Norvell and Gentry Maxwell; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Jeff Baldwin, Tommy Parker, Johnnie Pendley, Elgin LaStrape, Mike Sanders, Mike Stanford, Max Lewis and Rusty Hill. Memorials may be made to New Road Church of Christ Building Fund.
