Sue Ella Shelfer

Shelfer, Sue Mrs. Sue Ella Murphy Shelfer of Waco, a retired Office Manager of an Insurance Agency, passed away on April 7, 2005. Graveside services will be held at 10.00 AM on Monday , April 11 at Oakwood Cemetery. Sue was born September 21, 1915 in Holland Texas. She married Edwin Lawson Shelfer Jr. on October 20, 1940. He preceded her in death on April 2, 1976. She was a member of the Columbus Avenue Baptist Church for many years. She served as President of the Rosson Study Club as well as the Insurance Women of Waco Association and a member of the American Business Women’s Association. She is survived by her son, William Edwin Shelfer and his wife, Diane; her sister, Lemmah Alexander and sister-in-law, Mary Murphy.
