Susan Diane Klimt April 3, 1956 – April 23, 2007 Susan Diane Klimt, 51, of Waco, passed away Monday, April 23, 2007, at her home in Waco, surrounded by her family. Mass of Christian burial will be 1 p.m., Saturday, April 28 at St. Louis Catholic Church with Monsignor Mark Deering officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. followed by the visitation from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, April 27 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Bosque Chapel. Susan was born April 3, 1956 in Waco. She was the daughter of Bill and Doris Robertson of Bellmead, Texas. She graduated from La Vega High School in 1974, and received her Bachelors of Science in Education from Baylor in 1980. After graduation, she married the love of her life, Bryan Klimt, whom she met at Baylor. They are the parents of one son, Bryan, Jr. She taught mathematics at Connally Middle School from 1985-1993, geometry and algebra at Robinson High School from 1994-2004, and mathematics at Lake Air Middle School from 2004-2005. Since 2005, she taught at Eagle Academies of Texas in Waco. She was a very dedicated teacher and was loved by the many students whom she helped. She was a member of the Texas Classroom Teachers Association, and chaplain for Alpha Delta Kappa, an international honorary organization for women educators. In addition to her passion for teaching, Susan was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting tea sets. She is survived by her husband, Bryan Klimt of Waco; son and daughter-in-law, Bryan Klimt, Jr. and Amy Klimt of Austin; parents, Bill and Doris Robertson of Bellmead; three brothers, Daryl and wife Robin, Randy and wife Sharon, and Hunter all of Austin; a sister, Cindy Warehime and husband, David of Belton; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Johnny Bass, Ken Beaman, Doug Mann, Hunter Robertson, Larry Short, and Mark Wooldridge. The family would also like to thank the wonderful people at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and VistaCare of Waco for their care and support.
