SANDERS, SUSAN KAY GERIK Susan Kay Gerik Sanders, age 49, of Waco passed away on Sunday afternoon, May 5, 2002 at a local nursing home. A graveside service will be at 2:00PM Friday, May 10 at Waco Memorial Park with Chaplain Jane Lovett and Rev. Angelo Bertini officiating. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00PM Thursday, May 9 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 1124 Washington Ave. Susan was born on March 13, 1953 in Waco to Henry L. and Christine Gerik. She graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton. She worked in the Dallas area before she moved back to Waco due to Multiple Sclerosis. She was a member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Susan played the piano and organ and loved music. She was Catholic. Surviving Susan are her parents, Henry L. Gerik and Christine Gerik of Waco, her sister, Valerie Moraw and husband, Eugene Moraw of Lorena, her niece, Heather Moraw of Arlington and nephew, Eric Moraw of Lorena.
