DERRICK, SUZANNE SUZIE Suzanne Suzie Derrick, age 43, of Hewitt died Tuesday, June 11, 2002 at her residence. Services will be held at 9:30AM Friday, June 14 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. Roy Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 6:30-8:30PM Thursday, June 13 at the funeral home. Ms. Derrick was born October 7, 1958 in Waco to Hugh E. and Juanita Darden Pitcher. She graduated from Waco University High School in 1976 and attended M.C.C. She was employed at McLennan County Tile Company at the time of her death. She was formerly employed at Midway I.S.D. for over 10 years and was actively involved in P.T.A. Ms. Derrick attended First Baptist Church in Hewitt. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Mike Pitcher. Survivors include mother, Juanita Pitcher of Hewitt; daughters, Amy and Kristi Derrick of Hewitt, their father, Tommy Derrick of Waco and Kristi’s fiancée, Kyle Ziegelt, brothers, Jack Pitcher and wife, Kathy of Bosqueville and Bill Pitcher and wife, Karen of Houston; sister-in-law, Marilyn Pitcher of Carrollton and many nieces and nephews and many friends too numerous to list. Pallbearers will be Jerry Lewis, Robert Bohn, Kent Ziegelt, Kevin Ziegelt, Steve Southwell, Randy Rich, Larry Bohn, and Kenneth Ziegelt. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Derrick, Glenn Bohn, Danny Uptmore, and Kyle Ziegelt. Memorials may be made to Suzie Derrick Memorial Fund c/o Central National Bank, P.O. Box 2525, Waco, TX 76702.
