Tamara Jane Jones

Tamara Jane Jones, 59, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 27, 2019, at home. Tami was born September 22, 1960, in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, to Harold and Cleo Zempel. She was a 1979 graduate of Chippewa Falls High School. She married her husband, Kim Jones, on June 9, 1990. Tami worked at EMSI from 2011 to 2018. She loved to cook, spend time with her friends and family, and travel to see family as often as she could. Her favorite hobby was going on cruises with her husband when she wasn't away to see her family. She loved to explore new sights, new experiences, and make new friends wherever she was. A fierce woman of loyalty, perseverance, strength, she had the best ability to connect, bond, and bring a smile and a laugh to the face of everyone that she met. She is survived by her husband, Kim Jones; her seven children, Jennifer Dain, Joseph (Joy) Dain, Jordan (Kristen) Jones, George (Amanda) Jones, Olivia Jones, Travion Jones, and Charles Jones; three sisters, Lori (Ted) Vendetti, Shari (Mark) Engel, and Becky (Doug) Stringer; and six beautiful grandchildren, Gabriel, Tegan, Presley, Wyatt, Raleigh, and Warren. Family, friends, and others whose lives Tami has touched are invited to the Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd, Waco, TX 76710 on January 11, 2020, 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., for her memorial service. There will be a reception to follow 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., at American Legion Post #273, 202 S. Jefferson St, McGregor TX 76657.
