Teddy Don Smith

Teddy Don Smith passed away Saturday January 22, 2022, at his residence in Otto, Texas. A private celebration of life will be held with close family and friends. Ted was born September 7, 1961, in Corsicana, Texas, to Nelta Faye and Tommy Dale Smith. He attended Connolly High School. He had a career that spanned from service in the military, to heavy equipment operator, to senior material handler at various organizations. His hobbies included being a diehard Cowboys fan, listening to music, playing his guitar, being with his family, anything to do with his grandchildren, spending time with his roommate and close friend Jimmy Ray Sorrels, and being with his best K9 friend Lucky Bug. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Nelta Faye and Tommy Dale; his brother, Hoy Dean; and his beloved grandson, Conner. He is survived by his two sons, Jeremie (Ashlie) Smith and Cory (Kiera) Smith; brother, Thomas D. (Stacy) Smith; grandchildren, Alyssa, Brayden, Carlie, Kinleigh, Madison; and many aunts, uncles, and nephews. Ted loved animals.
