Teloiv ''T'' Eddins

January 8, 1941 — December 29, 2003

EDDINS, TELOIV “T” After a long struggle with illness, Teloiv “T” Eddins, age 62, of Waco, passed away peacefully Monday, December 29, 2003 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 10am Friday, January 2 at Calvary Assembly of God with Pastor Thomas D. Hale officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Thursday, January 1 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Mrs. Eddins was born and raised in Waco, Texas, but had traveled the world with her husband Phil who retired from the Air Force in 1974. She was the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Tingle and daughter of the late Cecil Marrs and Violet Marrs. “T” was well known in the art world and came from a long line of artists. She belonged to Waco Porcelain Art Guild, China Painters of Texas, The World Organization of China Painters, and the International Porcelain Artists Organization. She worked with many art mediums but her first love was Porcelain Art. In 1986 one of her beautiful pieces was placed on permanent display at the International Porcelain Art Museum in Dallas, Texas. Her work is found in many private collections across the United States and other countries. She also traveled and taught in many states through her art. Her hope was that one day people would be able to recognize her work without even seeing her signature. This hope has been realized as many still cherish and search for her pieces. This great artist, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and teacher will be sorely missed. Survivors include husband, Phillip “Phil” Eddins, Sr.; daughter, Phylis McFall and husband, Tim; sons, Phillip Carroll Eddins, II and Kim and James Dewey Eddins all of Waco; grandchildren, Amber Nikkole McLeod, Phillip “Trey” Eddins, III, Beau Christian Moss, Heather Danielle Eddins, Tory Chance Eddins, Christopher Don Eddins, and James Dewey Eddins, II; and great grandchildren, Timothy Wesley McLeod and Makenzi Abigail-Elizabeth Moss. Family members will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to March of Dimes or Calvary Assembly of God Church. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in our ''Memorial Guestbook'' at www.wilkirsonhatchbailey.com. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
