BERG, THELMA Thelma Berg, 87 of Waco died Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at a local nursing facility. Memorial graveside services will be held at 11am Thursday, July 8 at Waco Memorial North with Joel Wright officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Wednesday, July 7 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Thelma was born in Nacogdoches, Texas December 19, 1916 and moved to Waco in 1947. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley, and by her parents, and sister. Survivors include daughter, Jan Wright and husband, Joel; son, Joe Harley Berg and wife, Karin; grandchildren, John Berg and wife, Kristina, Joanna Berg, Meredith Brown and husband, David and Patrick Wright; and great grandchildren, Chase and Audrey Berg. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given to the Stilwell Retirement Residence or their favorite charity.
