Thelma Gatlin

GATLIN, THELMA Thelma Gatlin, age 95, a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother passed away Sunday, September 9, 2001 at a Euless, TX care center. Owida Mair will be conducting a graveside service at 11:00AM Wednesday, September 12th at Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Thelma was born September 30, 1905 in Dallas, TX and had lived in Waco since 1942. She was longtime active member in many Waco Federation of Women’s Clubs. Her husband, Leroy Gatlin, preceded her in death. Survivors include: Daughter: Jeane Marrs and husband, Johnny of Grapevine Grandsons: Curtis Waldrop of North Richland Hills Tommy Marrs and wife, Renee of Grapevine John Marrs of Austin Five great grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, several step-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Sister: Kathryn Brink of Austin In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association or charity of choice. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
