Thelma L. Jones March 1, 1917 – November 20, 2006 Thelma L. Jones, passed away Monday, November 20, 2006 in Waco. Services will be at 11:30 am Saturday, November 25 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Dr. Randy Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 5 to 7:00 pm Friday, November 24 at the funeral home. Thelma was born March 1, 1917 to Bessie and Fred Williams in Bosque County, Texas. She married Ben F. Jones in 1932 and resided in the Riesel and Waco area. Thelma was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed being around people. Thelma was loved and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She is home at last. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Ben, her parents and her brother, John. She is survived by her sons: Benny and wife, Billie of Waco, Bobby and wife, Joan of Tyler; grandchildren, Mike, Corby and Brad Jones, Toni Riggs, Debi Rozell, Steve Jones and Haylie Jones; sisters, Janell Patton of Waco, Catherine Jones and Geraldine McLaughlin of Tyler; sisters-in-law, Betty Williams of Tyler and Audrey Watkins of Waco; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
