Theodore Dudgeon Goldsby, Jr. November 1, 1941-November 28, 2005 Theodore Ted Goldsby, Jr. 64, of Waco passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2005. Services will be at 9:30 am Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005 at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Ramsdell officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North Cemetery. Ted was born Nov. 1, 1941 in Little Rock, AR to Ted and Elsie Goldsby, Sr. He was raised in Lubbock, attending school there through graduation from Texas Tech University in 1968, obtaining both bachelor and masters degrees. While at Texas Tech, Ted was a teaching assistant, a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and the Saddletramps. After graduation Ted served in the military as a Marine reservist and spent his professional career as a marketing and purchasing executive in several states. Ted returned to Texas with his family in 1985. Throughout his life he enjoyed fishing, golfing, sporting events and outdoor life. He was preceded in death by this father. Ted is survived by his wife of 29 years, Karin; his mother Elsie Goldsby; daughter Ginnie Powell and husband Brian of Hewitt; son Matthew Goldsby; daughter Lisa Salvato and husband Chris of Columbus, OH; daughter Angie Thornton and husband Trey of Abilene; grandchildren Austin and Savannah Powell, Samantha and Christopher Salvato, and Kylie and Cade Thornton. Honorary Pallbearers are members of the Odell Dudley Sunday School Class of the First United Methodist Church of Waco..
