Theresa Maziarz passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, October 14, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, October 23, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Theresa was born October 1, 1938, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, to John and Katherine Flahive. Theresa moved to Texas in 1962 where she began her career as a transcriber for the Waco Police Department. She continued her career with Rocketdyne, Collin’s Radio and Xerox before co-founding HMG Capital Acquisition Group. Theresa enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, reading, wine and dark chocolate. She was preceded in death by her parents; John and Katherine Flahive; brother, John T. Flahive and sister, Catherine Gilmore. She is forever remembered by her daughter, Cindi Luedtke and husband, Dave; son, Peter Maziarz and wife, Mary; grandchildren, Gabrielle Strickland and husband, Garrett, Micklos Burson, Catherine Nelson and husband, Wesley, Jennifer Redmond and husband, Spencer, Michelle Maziarz, Amanda Maziarz, John Peter Maziarz, Alana Maziarz, Zachery Maziarz, and Tabatha Pryor; niece, Allison Pope and husband, Ken; brother-in-law, Gordon Gilmore; sister-in-law, Bobbie Flahive; great grandchildren, Garrison Strickland, Gwen Strickland, Aaron Maziarz, Joshua Prior, and Angel Pryor.
