Therma Watson Brown February 19, 1926 September 8, 2012 Therma Watson Brown passed away Saturday, September 8, 2012 at her home. Services will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday, September 13 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 12 in the Garden Room at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Therma was born February 19, 1926 to William Albert and Drudie Kincaid Mow on a farm outside of Coleman, Texas. She moved to Waco in 1946 and worked at the phone company. She worked for KHOO and WACO radio stations and the YWCA. She married Charles Lewis Watson in 1947 and he passed away in 1972. In 1974, Therma married Clyde Driskill Brown and he passed away in 1986. She was a member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two brothers, W.A. and Vernon Mow; and one sister, Pauline Donaghey. She is survived by her two sons, Boyd David Watson and Lewis Darwin Watson; and daughters, Beverly Renschler and husband, Tommy; and Debbie Christensen and husband, Leonard; grandchildren, Zachary Eugene Watson, Jamie Lee Watson, Casey Haltom and Tierny Krueger and husband, Bret; and great grandchildren, Nathan Watson, Jordan Williams and Matthew Krueger. Also surviving are her brother, H.J. Mow and wife, June and sister, Laverle Mahan and husband, Rex. Pallbearers are Zach Watson, Casey Haltom, Mark Stovall, Brett Krueger, Tommy Renschler and Leonard Christensen. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Swenson and Floyd Miller.
