DONALDSON, THOMAS PROCTOR Thomas P. Donaldson, age 86, of Lacy-Lakeview died Thursday, February 14, 2002 at a local nursing home. Visitation with the family will be 2:00-4:00PM Sunday, February 17 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 1124 Washington Ave. Mr. Donaldson was born November 14, 1915 in McCaysville, Georgia to Thomas and Ethel Donaldson. He served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He married Edna Jowdy in 1945; she preceded him in death in 1981. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. A daughter, Betty Sue Shipp also preceded him in death. Survivors include daughter, Tommie Wade of Elm Mott, grandchildren, Billy and Shannon, Darin and Cheryl, and Chris and Brandie Wade; great grandchildren, Branden, Ashlee, Katy, and Lauryn Wade; brother, Francis Donaldson of McCaysville, Georgia, and numerous nieces and nephews.
