Warner, Thomas Payton May 9, 1932 – September 27, 2005 Tom Warner, of Waco, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 27, 2005. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday, October 9, 2005 at the Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Tom was born May 9, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA to Dr. and Mrs. J. C. Warner, who preceded him in death. He graduated from Carnegie Melon University and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was active in many civic committees including SCORE and FASTRACK. Tom was an avid golfer and a member of the Men’s Golf Association at Ridgewood Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Guynes Warner; children, Dr. Ann Elizabeth Warner and husband Steve Leben of Kansas City; William S. Warner and wife Anne, of Pebble Beach, CA, Steve Barber of McGregor and Kyle Barber of Austin, Laura Johnson of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Laura Louise, Tom, Sarah, Chase, Molly, Fowler, David, Eric, Colt and Clint and brother, Dr. William H. Warner of Minneapolis. Tom will be missed by all his family and friends.
