Timothy J. Barrett

BARRETT, TIMOTHY J. Timothy J. Barrett, age 71, of Woodway died Thursday, November 7, 2002 at a local hospital. The Rosary will be recited at 6:30pm Sunday, November 10 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Visitation with the family will follow. Mr. Barrett was born April 22, 1931 in Mt. Kisco, New York where he was reared and educated. He graduated from Fordham University in New York City in 1953 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in Korea. He married Elizabeth M. DePaoli May 19, 1957. He was employed at and retired from Marathon Battery. Mr. Barrett was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church and American Legion. He was active in The Waco Striders Running Club. Survivors include wife, Elizabeth M. Barrett; daughter, Mary Dwyer and husband, Donald of Waco; sons, Timothy Barrett and wife, Sherri of Woodway and Kevin Barrett and wife, Kathy of Dallas; grandchildren, D. J., Brandon and Blake Dwyer, and Mandy, Ashley, T. J. and Stephen Barrett; and sister, Marie Barrett of Mt. Kisco, New York.
