Tom Ervin McAtee November 1, 1928 – February 8, 2007 Tom McAtee of Waco passed away at his home on Thursday, February 8, 2007. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, at the Lakewood Christian Church, 6509 Bosque Blvd. with the Rev. Jack Mullins officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the Fellowship Hall following the service. Tom was born November 1, 1928 in Mulberry, Arkansas to William Randolph and Lena Belle McAtee. He married Jean Felkel Kinchen on September 1, 1979. He was employed by Central Transportation for 37 years and retired as Branch Manager in Waco. He was a faithful member of Lakewood Christian Church and a Master Mason. Tom’s greatest loves were his wife and best friend, Jean, his horses, and his vegetable garden. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, ten sisters and brothers, and his beloved horses. He is survived by his wife, Jean; five sons, William Randolph McAtee of Little Rock, Arkansas, Barron Wesley Cagle of Houston, Charles Dennis Cagle of Pearland, Michael William Kinchen of League City, Joseph Robert Felkel of Dripping Springs; and 5 grandchildren.
