Tommye Jo Horton

TOMMYE J. HORTON, 78 of Waco, died Friday, June 1, 2001 in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 5, 2001 at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Rev. Brad Brannon officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Monday at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home Garden Room, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Horton was born September 13, 1922 in Iowa Park to Herman and Lila Mitchell. She attended Baylor University and graduated from Texas Tech University. She married Robert L. Horton June 4, 1944. Her parents and two sisters Maye Kelley and Patsy McNabb preceded Mrs. Horton in death. Survivors include her husband Robert l. Horton of Waco; her son Robert Horton and his wife Kay of Waco; her granddaughters: Lee Ann Brannon and her husband Brad of Waco and Elizabeth Horton of Waco; her sisters: Helen Miller of Iowa Park and Artie Magee of Bowie; her brother Harry L. Bud Miller of Wichita Falls and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
