Travis Kane Bragewitz

Travis Bragewitz, 31, of Waco, passed away Saturday, February 11, at his home.

Services will be Friday, February 17, at 12:00 p.m., at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home with John M. DeGiorgio officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 16, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey from 5 – 7 p.m. Cowboy hats are encouraged at both.

Travis was born in Dallas and grew up in Waco and Gatesville. He attended University High School. Travis participated in horseback riding and Special Olympics at the Heart of Texas Therapeutic Riding Center for many years. He enjoyed Challenger Baseball, Upwards Basketball, and the HOT Special Needs Rodeo. He loved fishing, baseball, football, delivering Meals on Wheels and curating his wardrobe.

Travis was preceded in death by his grandfather, JC Bragewitz; grandmother, Sue Bragewitz; grandfather, Wayne Caldwell; and aunt, Betty Ashmore.

He is survived by his parents, Lisa and Randy Petrini and Terry and Kelly Bragewitz; grandmother, Eula Caldwell; sisters, Kelcy Pierce and husband, Tanner, Jolie James and fiancé, Logan Powell; nephews, Theo Pierce and Max Powell; niece, Allie Powell; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special friend and caregiver, Gidget Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Bragewitz, Jason Porter, Brad Carothers, Justin Carothers, Dan Curtis, and Barrett Hutchinson.
