He graduated from Richfield High School in 1977 and attended McLennan Community College. He was honored to be on the Willow City Loop deer lease that spanned generations of fathers and sons beginning with his grandfather, Barney Burch. In 1985, Treacy married the light of his life, Tracy Lynne Scott of Waco. They had two children, Colton and Braxton. He delighted in playing tennis with his family, and they were all involved in landscaping their beautiful backyard with fish ponds, bridge, decks and flowers. Many happy gatherings with friends took place there. The Burches are members of Meadowbrook Baptist Church where they are surrounded by a very loving and caring church family. Treacy was involved in many community affairs. He began his involvement in Waco charitable organizations as a teenager and later took part in Leadership Waco. He spent over 25 years following his paternal side's careers in automobiles and automotive parts. Then, in 2004 he shifted to his maternal side's interest in furniture when he and Trent Fedro opened Consignment Furniture Showroom. Fedro branched into the moving services and Dean McNeil then became Treacy's partner. Treacy had a caring heart and mentored many young people. His sense of caring was demonstrated as he devoted himself to helping people and families who were experiencing problems and hardships.
