Treva Louise Boyd

Treva Boyd September 6, 1918 - December 23, 2015 Treva Louise Boyd of Waco passed away Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, Dec. 28, at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Williams officiating. Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Monday, December 28, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Treva was born September 6, 1918, in Gatesville, Texas, to James Knox Kelley and Alma Louise Kelley. For many years she was a LVN at Coryell Memorial Hospital and the Lowrey Clinic in Gatesville. Treva was an avid gardener, a lover of outdoors, enjoyed many trips to Colorado, Yellowstone and the Canadian Rockies and was much loved by her family and friends. She lived a long life and left a legacy of love, and will be greatly missed. Treva was a member of First Baptist Church in Gatesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Milledge Boyd; and her brother, James Knox Kelley, Jr. Treva is survived by her daughters, Nancy Bone and husband, David, of Hewitt and Beverly Baechtel of Huntsville, Texas; granddaughters, Kimberly Baechtel of Huntsville, Stacy Ballard and husband, Ray; great granddaughter, Chloe Ballard; and two nieces, Patsy Smart and husband, Donnie, and Peggy Godfrey and husband, Hatcher. Pallbearers are David Bone, Ray Ballard, Keith Smart, Hatcher Godfrey and Donnie Smart. Memorials may be made to Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest.
