LOGAN, VERA LOUISE Vera Louise Logan, age 94 of Lubbock formerly of Waco died Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at a Lubbock nursing facility. Services will be held at 3pm Saturday, October 4 at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel with Chaplain Curtis Holland and Walter Baldwin Chapter #929 O.E.S. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North. Arrangements are through Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Logan was born November 12, 1908 in Durant, Oklahoma. She attended schools in Keirsey and Durant, Oklahoma. She married Robert Dee Logan July 23, 1928 in Durant. They moved to Waco in 1929, he preceded her in death December 10, 1972. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Walter Baldwin Chapter #929 and Western Heights Baptist Church. She moved to Lubbock in July 1974. Mrs. Logan was presently a member of Indiana Baptist Church in Lubbock. She was a wedding caterer in Waco for over 30 years. Also, she was a member of bridge clubs and 42 clubs in Waco and Lubbock. Survivors include daughter, Katrina V. Smith of Lubbock and grandsons, Richard F. Haug of San Marcos and Robert Logan Haug of Austin.
