Vernon Cypert

Vernon Cypert October 30, 1914 - February 4, 2008 Vernon Cypert of Waco passed away Monday, February 4, 2008 at St. Catherine's Center. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 7, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Vernon was born October 30, 1914 in Hill County to Ed and Virgie Cypert. He worked for 45 years with Wm. Cameron Co./National Building Centers and retired as treasurer. Vernon and Frances Kiblinger were married for 67 years and she preceded him in death in 2005. He loved to fish and was an accomplished woodworker. He was former president of the Downtown Waco Kiwanis Club and 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Waco Masonic Lodge #92. Vernon had been a lifelong Baptist and was a charter member of the Frank Wilson Sunday School Class at Columbus Avenue Baptist Church in Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. He is survived by his son, Jim Cypert and wife, Rita of Waco; daughter, Yvonne Cypert of Waco; and grandson, Christian Cypert and wife, Cheryl of Aubrey, TX. Pallbearers are Members of Frank Wilson Sunday School Class, Columbus Avenue Baptist Church.
