Vernon Koch September 19, 1912 – October 4, 2005 Vernon Koch passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2005. Services will be on Saturday, October 8 at 1:30 p.m. at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Bosque Chapel with Rev. Jim Houser and Rev.Brad Herridge officiating. Burial will follow at Bosqueville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 7th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Vernon was born September 19, 1912 in Gatesville, TX to Gus and Otillie Apel Koch. He and Mary Louise McCurry were married on October 5, 1934. He was a member of Bosqueville Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for over 57 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, daughter, Thelma Koch Hyde; brothers, Harold and Irvin Koch. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law William Bill Koch and wife Pat of Houston, and two daughters and sons-in-law Joyce Koch Rowell and husband Danny of Waco, Beverley Koch Stone and husband Ron of Bryan, and a son-in-law Bill Hyde of Frankston. Other survivors include 10 grandchildren: James and wife Judy Hyde, Deanna and husband Craig Garon, Steve and wife Cathie Rowell, Jeff and wife Jill Hyde, Suzanne and husband Ray Beddingfield, Kevin and wife Kim Koch, Ty and wife Lynette Stone, Kyle and wife Joanie Koch, Sy and wife Alison Stone and Kandi and husband Michael Vance; 18 great grandchildren; brother, Albert Koch and sisters, Emma Hill and Myrtle Phillips. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers. A very special thanks and heartfelt appreciation go to the staff at Regent Care Center.
