Vincent Reyes, 92, of Waco passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 at The Brazos of Waco Center. Graveside services will be Friday,November 10th, at 10 a.m., at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday at 6:00 p.m. with rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey. Vincent was born in Waco on August 12, 1925. He grew up in Waco and married Anita Tijerina on August 15, 1949 in Waco. He worked for the City of Waco for 25 years before retiring. He loved spending time with family and watching his Dallas Cowboys. He enlisted in the Army and served in WWII and Korea. He received the Bronze Star and later served 8 years in the Army Reserve. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita T. Reyes; parents, Trinidad and Mercedes Reyes; brothers, Florentino, Humberto and twins, Alfonso and Ricardo Reyes. Survivors include daughters, Cynthia Ocasio, Rosalee Monrial and husband, Sam, Anna M. Tovar and husband, Randy; sons, Humberto Reyes and wife, Roxann, Vincent Reyes, Jr. and wife, Rhonda; 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Joseph and Jeffrey Ocasio, Sam, Jr. and Andrew Monrial, great-grandsons, Trea and Adrian Monrial.
