Virginia J. Warrington October 8, 1923 - January 17, 2014 Virginia J. Warrington of Nashville, Tennessee, formerly of Waco, went to Heaven on Friday, January 17, 2014. Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 21, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Father Michael Heidt officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Bend Coon Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 20, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Virginia was born October 8, 1923 in Dallas, Texas to Jeffrey and Jamie Johnson. She was married to the late Jim Warrington on December 28, 1946 at Christ Episcopal Church in Dallas, Texas. She worked for the Internal Revenue Service in Ft. Worth and Waco for many years, as well as preparing the weekly bulletin at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church of Ft. Worth. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Fred Warrington; step-father, Arthur Fonda and son-in-law, Jerry Hood. She is survived by her three daughters, Susie Hood of Harlingen, Texas, Beth Thevenot and husband, Peter of Nashville and Brenda Hinton of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Stacey Rowe, Jeffrey Scoggins, Benjamin Garrett, Cole, Brandon and Lacey Hood, Michelle, Mark and Jacquelyn Thevenot and Cory Hinton; great grandchildren, Robert and Brandon James Sheffield, Christian and Stephan Thevenot, Erin and Emery Scoggins, Rachel and Robert Hood; and her sister-in-law, Charlotte Petty. Pallbearers are her grandsons and great grandsons. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or charity of choice.
