OBITUARY FOR: Virginia Nell Curlin Virginia Nell Curlin, 76, of Waco died Thursday, June 19, 2003 in Lexington, Kentucky. Services will be 1:30 PM Wednesday, June 25, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Dr. Jerry Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will follow at Bosqueville Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday in the Garden Room before the service. Mrs. Curlin was born August 16, 1926 in Corpus Christi to Lloyd Nelson and Nell V. Crump. She was reared and educated in Waco. She was a homemaker and a legal secretary for many years. She was a former member of the Waco Federation of Women’s Clubs and had served as president. She was a member of Central Christian Church where she was active as a Sunday school teacher. She was a dedicated wife and mother. Survivors include daughter, Beth Curlin of Estill County, Kentucky and son, William Harold Curlin, Jr. of San Francisco, California. A sister, Eva Beth Beal and husband, Alvin of San Antonio and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Russell Beal, Mason Ready, George Gonzales, Carlos Lopez and Milford Murphy. Honorary pallbearers will be Alvin Beal and Quinton Rogers. Memorials may be sent to Berea College, Berea, KY 40404.
