SPEASMAKER, VIRGINIA SUE KING Virginia Sue King Speasmaker, age 60 of Waco died Monday, August 25, 2003 at a local nursing facility. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are through Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Ms. Speasmaker was born September 12, 1942 in Crowell, Texas. She graduated from Waco High School in 1960. She received her bachelors degree from Baylor University in 1968. At Baylor, she was a member of Alpha Beta, Sigma Pi Delta and Baylor Alumni Association. She was a lifetime member of Highland Baptist Church. She taught in area schools including St. Louis Elementary, MCC and TSTC. Ms. Speasmaker was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Louis and Era Mae Jones King. Survivors include brother, David L. King of Belton; niece, Desiree Marie Caufield of Spring; nephew, Joshua Louis King of Belton, uncle and aunt, Thomas Dunn Jones and Antoinette Jones of Fort Myers, Florida, aunt, Mae Jones of Fort Worth and several cousins; a lifetime friend, Jo Ann Gerringer of Blossom and many other special friends. Memorials may be made to Highland Baptist Church Music Department or Waco Humane Society.
