Vivian Chunn May 15, 1915 - January 6, 2013 A lovely lady has gone to her eternal resting place. Vivian Chunn, 97, of Waco passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013, at St. Catherine Center. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 8, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Vivian was a true Texan, born in Mart, Grew up in Corsicana, went to business school in Waco, worked at Hichs Rubber Company and was a secretary for Safeway. She enjoyed music and played the organ well. Also, she liked to travel, made a trip to Europe, cruised in the Carribbean, traveled across America and into Canada, and vacationed in Mexico. She was a member of Crestview Church of Christ and had a great faith and enjoyed Bible studies with the women from the church. The "In Search of the Lord's Way" was one of her favorite TV programs. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lillian Johnson; her husband, Gene Chunn, Jr; sister, Kitty Johnson; and brother, Mike Johnson. Vivian is survived by Mike's wife, Wanda and their family. She will be missed by many loyal friends.
