Vivian "Billie" Comer September 14, 1919 - May 12, 2009 Vivian "Billie" Comer of Dallas, formerly of Waco, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 14, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Jim Pitts officiating. Burial will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.Wednesday, May 13, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Vivian was born September 14, 1919 in China Spring, TX to Ernest and Nellie Cannon. She grew up in Waco where she attended public schools and 4-C Business College. She was employed by the U.S. Postal service in Dallas and retired there. She was a major part of Brother Comer's ministry, as she taped and distributed all his nationwide radio broadcasts, keeping that part of the ministry in good order. She had lived in Dallas most of her adult life. Vivian was a member of First Baptist Church in Dallas. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, G.P. Comer; two brothers, C.E. Gene Cannon, Ernest Bud Cannon; five sisters, Ruie Fetzer, Irene Cunningham, Pauline Breedlove, Hortense Swaner and Agnes Baine. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Wincie Cannon of Waco; and by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, along with many lifelong friends. Honorary pallbearers are her nephews, Don Cannon, Kenneth Cannon, Travis Cannon, Gary Cannon, Dale Breedlove and Johnny Breedlove.
