Vivian Loraine Jinks

VIVIAN JINKS Vivian Loraine Dahlberg Jinks, 88, of Waco, died Friday, November 29, 2002. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Monday, December 2 at Taylor City Cemetery in Taylor, Texas, with her nephew Rev. George Ricker officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Jinks was born January 27, 1914 in Taylor to Frank and Amanda Dahlberg. She attended the University of Texas in Austin, where she was a member of the Coed Trio which sang over several national radio networks. She married John H. Jinks on April 28, 1942. She was a member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church in Waco, where she sang in the choir for many years. Survivors include John Jinks, her loving husband of 60 years, now a resident of Rosemont Assisted Living Facility, 14101 Bay Pointe Ct., #147, Houston, TX 77062. Other survivors include a daughter, Carol Jinks Moore and husband Hays, and their daughter Amanda Moore of League City; and a son, Gary Jinks of Dallas and his children John and Meredith Jinks of Austin. She also has numerous loving nieces, nephews, and beloved friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to your favorite church or charity.
