Vondee Ola Webb Hoeffner May 1, 1921 - July 18, 2015 Vondee Ola Webb Hoeffner of Waco passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Providence Hospice Place. Services will be 1:00 p.m Tuesday, July 21, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Ron Durham officiating. Burial will follow at Cottonwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 20, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Vondee was born May 1, 1921 in Seymour, Texas to Thomas and Ella Webb. For 67 years, she was married to the love of her life, Edwin Hoeffner. She graduated from North Texas State Teachers College now UNT with a math education degree. In addition to being a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker, Vondee held several professional positions. Her love extended beyond her own to her Columbus Avenue Baptist Church and Educators Credit Union families. Vondee joined CABC in 1964 and served as a Sunday School teacher and mentor to countless members. Through her 34-year career at ECU beginning in 1981, she inspired many members and colleagues to invest in their Roth IRAs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Hoeffner; parents; and one brother, Gwindle "Buddy" Webb. She is survived by three sons, Byron Hoeffner and wife Janet of Watauga, TX; Kent Hoeffner and wife Lisa of Waco, TX; and Keith Hoeffner and wife Margie of Woodway, TX; eight grandchildren, Rebecca Smith and husband Stewart, William Hoeffner; Seth Hoeffner, Hannah Chandler and husband Jacob, Abigail Windham; Katy, Jacob, and Carolyn Hoeffner; and "sister in spirit" Mary Lou Hoeffner.
